The weekend was great! I would have liked to be able to have gone for more scooter rides but I drank and danced and laughed till my stomach hurt and reconnected with a couple of people I hadn’t seen in years. You can’t ask for more than that!

Hard to believe this wasn’t even possible not long ago. My kids have a hard time imagining it. I remember meeting russian astronauts at Habitat when I was little. I just love this. Canadians rock.

Today I have been married for 24 years!!!! Omg, time has flown and it seems strange that we are going on the rally to Victoria on the weekend but at the same time I can remember going when I was younger like it was yesterday. We may get remarried next year for our 25th, I think it’s important to renew the vows you made after actually living through some of them. When you are 22 and promising in sickness and health, richer or poorer, you don’t really think about bad things happening. Life will kick you in the ass and we have lived though all of it but when you come out the other side and are still together, those vows have much stronger meaning. Happy Anniversary to my love. It has been a journey that hasn’t always been easy but I wouldn’t have wanted to take it with anyone else.
